How does it all work?

The procedure is actually very simple. Via our own and many other websites you can view and follow our available properties. Would you prefer to be informed automatically? Then you can register on our website. During the registration process you can choose for the automatic mailing either/or newsletter.

If you find an interesting property within our offers, it is possible to contact us by phone or by email to set up an appointment for a viewing. Together, we will arrange a suitable date and time for you to come and see the property. Of course, this is without any obligation and free of charge. you are free to view as many properties as you wish.

If, during a viewing, you will decide to rent one of the properties that we offer, one of our agents will contact the landlord to discuss you as a candidate and do the necessary negotiations. However, before this is possible, you will need to provide us some personal documents. These documents will be used to check your financial capability to pay the monthly rent and to convince the landlord about your reliability as a tenant.

The following documents will need to be provided:

• If you are employed:
• Personal identification (passport or ID (and VISA));
• Employer's declaration (max. 1 month old); download here
• 3 recent and consecutive payslips;
• Proof of salary payment on bank account;
• Bank card of the bank account on which the salary is paid;
• Landlord's declaration (download here) or Mortgage statement;
• If you are self-employed, we request the following documents:
• Personal identification (passport or ID (and VISA));
• Company's registration (max. 3 months old);
• Anual figures or bank statement;
• In case you are on the payroll – Recent payslip, including proof of payment received on bank account;
• Bank card of the bank account on which the salary is paid;
• Landlord's declaration (download here) or Mortgage statement;

What are the costs?

It is possible and without any charge, to search our website for current offerings. Would you prefer to automatically be kept informed of our new offer or put down a search request for one of our brokers? In that case, you will first need to register yourself on our website. The same applies if you would like to visit one of the homes. Registration will cost € 17,50 and has unlimited validity.

Upon successful mediation for a property out of our own supply, HomeRent doesn't charge an agency fee. If required, we can also provide an extra service with helping to apply for utility contracts, insurances, bank accounts, etc. For more information about this service, please contact our office.

For business rentals or search requests we charge a fee of 1 month rent, excluding 21% VAT.
